Ten Mile Haus B3 [1]
Bargain Find- Hard to hard to find and not accessible
Reviewed on 2024-10-14 by Natelie R. , Colorado Springs, CO USBeautiful area. Easy key pick up. The building itself has a lot of construction and the stairs you should be able to use were blocked. I ended up walking all the way around the building to find the unit. The map should be more specific about where the assigned unit is located. There is no accessible walk way. Once I did arrive it was ok. It has a smell of dampness. Very thin walls I can hear the neighbors talking. The toiletries are the absolute bare minimum 1 ply toilet paper, dry no sud soap no, etc. It functioned for what I needed it for but not really a stand out and I'd pay a little more to find something a little more updated.

The one thing I did like is that there was a yard right outside the door and with other rentals I'd have to walk pretty far to relieve my dogs.
room review
Reviewed on 2024-09-28 by kenneth f. , ROUND ROCK, TX United StatesThe condo was clean but needed some repair, mostly trim. The staff was very responsive to a couple of problems we had like relighting the pilot light on the fireplace. Glad the condo was on the ground floor and opens to a grass area which was great for our pet. Wished that the hot tub was working. Otherwise it was a pleasant stay.
Great weekend with our dog
Reviewed on 2024-07-22 by Johannes v. , Centennial, CO USWe rented this unit for a fundraiser bike ride being held that weekend. Specifically looked for a unit that was pet friendly and close to Center Village. This was perfect for that! The unit faces the forest and trails so it was easy to go for walks and get our dog some exercise. Easy walking distance to Center Village but far enough away that we didn’t hear the noise. The unit is quite dated but everything was functional. We had four of us (two adults, two children) and used the bedroom and pullout couch. Both mattresses are uncomfortable, the pullout particularly so. Even so, it fit what we needed and we would stay again for the location. Garage parking is included but we parked on the surface lot because we had a Thule box on top and a long bike rack in the back. A full size truck fits in the garage but not if you have anything on top (other than a low ski rack, perhaps). Hot tub appeared to be on site but was under construction so not available for use.
Great ski in/out
Reviewed on 2024-04-04 by H. R. , Lakewood, CO USNice simple place with easy access to center village. Garage is closeby. Ski in made it easy for us to check on our pup too. Would book this place again.

Just OK
Reviewed on 2024-03-23 by Michael N. , WILDWOOD, MO USGreat location but overpriced for the condition of the condo. Carpet is very worn. No wine glasses available. Fireplace does not work. Could use a bigger bed in the bedroom. Needs new outlets as phone chargers simply fall out when plugged in. In my opinion, the owners of this unit should give it an overhaul and modern update in the offseason.

Not ideal
Reviewed on 2024-01-14 by Michael H. , Boulder, CO United StatesWe are not used to such a hard bed, so when we woke up the first morning with headaches, stiff necks, and sore backs, we were in no shape to ski all day. We ended up driving home to Boulder and skipping out on our ski weekend, forfeiting our other two nights that we paid for. It was pretty disappointing.
Summer getaway
Reviewed on 2023-09-06 by , Wichita, KS USExcellent location for summer hiking. This condo has everything you need just bring your bags. Close to lots of outdoor activities, shopping and great restaurants. The property was very clean and well maintained. We really enjoyed our stay and have already recommended it to some friends.

Bad Directions
Reviewed on 2022-12-28 by Gregg G. , Euless, TX USThe directions were not adequate if you have never been to the building and it's after sun set. When you drive up to the building it clearly shows building A, however we were in building B and did not see another building or a way to get to it. Turns out there is no other building, just different levels and different sides. With a little help from security, we did find B3. Also, the key card for the overflow parking did not work and there were no instructions on where the regular parking was supposed to be. When you drive up at night it is not visible or evident. There are garage doors, but they are not labeled, so confusing. The afterhours phone line was no help. They said to call security and provided the number. Security said they did not work for Copper Vacations, and I would need to call them. So in other words, if you arrive after hours, you are without help or support. After begging the security guard for help, he sent someone to help. What a frustrating experience. The room was fairly clean except for the pet hair. I was wearing black gym pants and noticed pet hair all over them on the second day (I do not have pets, so it was not from me or my home). The microwave was missing a leg and would not work properly unless you used something to level it. There was a small soap and shampoo, but some skin lotion would have been nice as the air is very dry and I had to go buy some. Maybe I'm too used to being in a hotel, which typically has a small lotion in addition to the soap and shampoo. The location was good, short walk to the slopes. It was cheaper than some of the other rooms nearby, but you get what you pay for. I think my overall outlook would have been much better if they just had better instructions as we arrived late after hours of driving.

Poorly stocked kitchen
Reviewed on 2022-02-13 by , Genoa, NE United StatesThe pillows were very thin and there were no extras.
The location is great. We loved being able to ski right to our front door. Very quick and easy access to all that Center Village has to offer.
I can overlook how outdated this property is but the kitchen was VERY sparsely stocked. Basic items were missing or broken and it made cooking a challenge. The property was listed as having a hot tub - when we arrived we discovered that the hot tub had been torn out for replacement. We feel the listing should have been updated to reflect this.
The pillows were very thin and there were no extras.
The location is great. We loved being able to ski right to our front door. Basic good deal
Reviewed on 2022-01-27 by , N/A, CO United StatesSort of bare bones at this place. Not the place to bring a date to impress them ; ) but it is RIGHT ON THE nice to ski right up to the door. This is for the person that wants the best location for the lowest price not caring at all about lux amenities.
Great location, but very dated property
Reviewed on 2022-01-16 by Trina C. , Tucson, AZ USThis property is in a great location but is fairly dated and somewhat rundown. For someone who was only about the ski location, it was adequate for a short-term stay.
Comfortable, good value, good location
Reviewed on 2021-10-27 by , Rose Hill, KS USThe condo is an older unit but clean and comfortable. It could use some updating, but is a very good value "as is"--nothing broken or non-functional except hair dryer. 2 minute walk to center village in Copper Mtn and less than 10 minute drive from Frisco for groceries and restaurants. This is our second time staying in this building and using Copper Vacations. No problems at all; check in was easy even though we arrived after midnight. We would definitely stay here again.

Vacation
Reviewed on 2021-09-05 by , Hardin, KY USWe enjoyed our stay. Great trails beginning right at our door. The bed was uncomfortable though. We had issues with the living room t.v. but they quickly fixed that. It is a pet friendly place which is a plus! Some people however just seem to open their doors and let their dogs roam on their own. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
Very Outdate Condo

Perfect for us

Great location - but very dated
Reviewed on 2021-08-24 by Bob B. , Prescott, AZ UnknownThe building is 50 years old but well-maintained. Unit B3 is showing its age. The owners have started upgrading but are maybe half done i.e. newer kitchen appliances but 50 year old cabinets. Overall our experience was good-the unit was vlean and had most of the essentials. But the kitchen equipment-dishes, utensils, glasses and cups are pretty bad and really need to be replaced. There's more but won't get into it here. Overall, we had a good experience though.
Serves Its Purpose
Reviewed on 2021-04-13 by Heather F. , Arvada, CO USI'll start with the positives, which was the price and location. It's very convenient to anywhere you want to go in Copper being centrally located and just a short stroll to the shuttle stop. I will say that this unit's location within the building is not the most easily-accessed. You have to climb a flight of stairs and go around the building since there isn't a walk-through at any more convenient point and there's a lot of ice along the way, but once you get there it's nice a private since it faces the mountain. The unit itself serves its purpose in that it can sleep 4 and offers a decent kitchenette and bathroom, but it definitely needs some TLC. We don't mind dated, which shows in the pictures, but one of the fabric chairs in the living room is severely stained and seems dirty and the pillows look like they haven't been replaced since the kitchen cabinetry. They're pillows, you can get a decent "rental unit pillow" for $10 at Target. The ones they have are stained and as flat as a folded t-shirt. Any no pillow covers. Eww. The pull-out sofa does pull out to sleep 2, but the mattress is very thin and between that and the pillows I didn't get much sleep. The extra comforter for the pull-out had a white liquid stain on it...I just had to ignore knowing what that stain was from and use another blanket. Another Eww. It's those little things that could make this unit a little more comfortable without needing to put a lot of $$ into it. People booking obviously are fine with dated, but it has to be clean and comfy and this just lacked in that area. We would book again if some of those improvements were made though - the whole process was easy and helped make our 4-year-old's first ski trip amazing. There will definitely be more to come!
Great Location
Reviewed on 2021-03-08 by , DAVENPORT, IA United StatesThe place was clean, the kitchen was stocked all your basic cooking tools, there was hot water, and there was convenient indoor parking.
The only "negative" was the quality of the furniture and general appearance inside. It was old, worn, and dated. (But clean and functional.) However, given the location and the price, it's an excellent deal and I recommend it.

Great time
Reviewed on 2021-02-02 by Renee C. , Grandview, TX United StatesOur party of 3 consisted of one who’s too injured & old to ski, one eager to learn on her first trip & my son who skis it all. I was able to bring my dogs for company for me while the others were having fun on the hill. There was plenty of room for us there and I loved the countertop convection oven. The check in was contactless and smooth as was the checkout. I will definitely be booking with Copper Vacations for the Ten Mile Haus again. Thanks for your hospitality!!
